No, musicready! music is not royalty-free. The composers of musicready! are members of the german collection society GEMA.
Is non-royalty-free music a disadvantage for the client?
No, it usually does not make a difference in advertisement payments, whether a tv or radiospot uses royalty-free music, non royalty-free music, or no music at all.
Can the music be downloaded for free?
Yes, anybody can download a musicready! track or all musicready! tracks for free, we encourage users to play with the music in their projects, combining the music with tv, radio or internet commercials.
Can I download all titles of musicready! simultaneously?
Yes. You can download all tracks from musicready! by checking ALL in the download console and clicking on DOWNLOAD (approximately 200 MB size zipped).
Can I get the music of musicready! on a CD ?
Yes, you can order a CD with all the musicready! tracks by using the contact information.
How can I find a certain music style?

How can I find music for a certain spot style?
To find music for your project, simply click on a spot style search term like CAR, FOOD or ENERGY. This filters music that matches to such a spot in name, description and tags. The musical characteristics are separated like FUNNY, MELODIC and WILD. You can also enter other search words in the description field, such as "young", "jazzy," or "strings".
Can I download a search result simultaneously?
If you have used the search engine, you can download your individual search result. Please check SEARCH RESULT in the download console and click on download, and you will receive a zip-file with your search selection tracks.
Can I make an exclusive reservation for a title that I might want to use?
Yes. Make a reservation by clicking the reserve button in the track window. Please fill in your company details carefully and type in the amount of weeks you need. After submitting the form, you will receive an email with a confirmation link. As soon as you click the confirmation link, your reservation period starts, and that musicready! title will be shown as RESERVED on the musicready! website.
Is a reservation free of charge?
The first week of the reservation period is free of charge, for longer periods we will invoice you a weekly fee of 100 Euros plus VAT, if applicable.
Why would I make an exclusive reservation of a title?
The exclusive reservation provides you with enough time for the coordination process with the client and the final licensing for the use of the music. So you can be sure, that during the coordination process no other party licenses your favorite track.
Can I get an exclusive license from musicready!?
Yes. As soon as you have made a decision about the usage of a track, please contact us to start the exclusive licensing process and for information about our licensing fees.
I have saved the music on my hard drive. How do I know, whether a title is still available?
Type in your title into the search field. If the title is online and not marked reserved, the track is still available.
Is it possible, to make changes to a musicready! track?
All musicready! tracks are saved in a digital format and can be recalled instantly in the recording studio. This allows for quick customization of the music in: arrangement, melody, and length.
Can you help me find the best sound for my tv-spot project?
Yes. Send us an email with your tv-spot or your company-logo. You will receive a suggestion/recommendation shortly thereafter
Would you produce an individual music track for my project?
Of course you can send us your individual music briefing, and we will compose a music track for you. Please use the contact information to get in touch with us.
How often are new tracks released on musicready?
New tracks are being produced on a regular basis, typically four to six per month. Please subscribe to the musicAlert! newsletter to be informed of new releases, reservation cancellations, and track-eliminations.

What is a Multitrack?
Multitracks are different mixes of one title. For example, you can have the same music with or without vocals, without a guitar, or a different lead instrument. This allows the client to better customize the music to the project. All parts of a Multitrack have the same harmonics and tempo.
Can I use different tracks of musicready! in one spot?
Yes, you can select different titles for a project; please make sure to RESERVE all desired tracks.
Can I receive a music-master on CD?
As soon as you have finished the licensing, you will receive a master in your desired format.

No. The music on musicready! is not royalty-free. Public performance or broadcast is only allowed with the written approval of Lamotte Neuhaus Music GbR.

The costs for the acquisition of a musicready! track depends on the specific type of usage. For inquiries about prices please use the contact information. Customary costs will occur for additional layout mixes, the final Mastering, cuts in length, the buyout for different territories, the kind of usage, and the period of use.

No. Every title will be exclusively licensed only to one client.
